Your Kingdom Purpose Is Worth Fighting For

As humans, we are wired to seek purpose and meaning in our lives. This quest for understanding who we are and why we are here, is a fundamental part of finding our purpose. This blog is based on Apostle Deborah Bell's current message series on Purpose, which you can find on DGFC's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@dgfc)

The Significance of Prioritising Christ in Our Lives

Many of us go through life feeling lost or adrift, unsure of who we are or where we belong. However, when we allow Christ to become the primary focus of our existence, we begin to see ourselves through a different lens. We are no longer defined by our past mistakes, current struggles, or society's expectations. Instead, our identity is rooted in who Christ says we are, and our purpose becomes clear.

When Christ takes precedence in your life, you will be in alignment and pursuing your Kingdom purpose.

Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -all things have been created through Him and for Him.

When we are not aligned, it becomes very difficult for us to fulfil our Kingdom purpose. Misalignment creates obstacles that can keep us from moving forward in the plan God has for our lives and stops us from fulfilling our Godly purpose.

The Transformational Power of Living in Alignment with Christ's Purpose

When we align our goals, ambitions, and dreams with the purpose God has for our lives, we experience a profound transformation. Our priorities shift, our perspectives change, our attitudes and words change, to bring about Kingdom purpose, not our own selfish desires.

While this process and journey may be filled with twists and turns, challenges and triumphs, we cannot allow the weariness of the day to overtake us or allow our emotions to dictate the pursuit and establishment of our Kingdom purpose.

Apostle Deborah said that the pursuit of our purpose, will require consecration and a willingness to surrender our desires to the will of God. It requires us to be tested in the wilderness.

Proverbs 3:5-6a "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to the Lord..."

Conclusion

In a world that often pulls us in different directions, it is essential to anchor ourselves in the unchanging truth of Christ's love and purpose for our lives. By prioritising Christ, we not only align ourselves with the God's will, but we also unlock the fullness of our Kingdom purpose.

This is a time of reflection, waiting on the Lord, hearing from the Lord, seeking the Lord, and aligning our hearts with God's will.

Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Remember, for the new to arise, something has to die.

Your purpose is worth fighting for!
