How to Prioritise What Truly Matters

Updated: Nov 2

In a world filled with distractions, it can be easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But this September, the Lord is calling us to a place of "singular focus" — devoted time to SEE and KNOW what the Lord would say and wants to do.

Singular focus is the ability to give your full attention to one thing, amid times of chaos and noise. The Bible reminds us of the power of focus and vision. "Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you." (Proverbs 4:25 NIV). This scripture speaks of what it means to be singularly focused. When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, we will not be easily swayed by the distractions or uncertainties of life.

In times of transition and uncertainty, seek singular focus, to receive divine strategy and direction. The Lord is inviting us to see beyond the natural and into the supernatural, where God's power transforms and brings breakthrough. This month, let's commit to being intentional in our walk with God, seeking the Lord in prayer, worship, and the Word, to discern God's voice clearly.

Meditate on John 16:13 "But when, the Spirit of truth, comes, Holy Spirit will guide you into all the truth” and Jeremiah 29:13 "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

September is a season of revelation and alignment. By devoting ourselves to a singular God aligned focus, we can walk boldly into the future with God-given vision and strength. Let’s rise up, see what God is showing us, and step into what the Lord has prepared.

Make time to lay aside distractions and seek God's agenda above all else, receiving a "water walking faith" to deal with turmoil, uncertainty and transition.
