The Lord is issuing a clarion call to the Bride: it is time to BURN for the Lord, not to burn-out.
Lev 6:12b “The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out.”
So many people are experiencing pressure from multiple sides – financial, relationally, family dynamics, children going wayward or struggling, poor emotional well-being in a rushed world, friends leaving your side for no good reason, feeling isolated …. The list can go on!
The enemy is sending assignment upon assignment against you to divert you away from the Lord, but God wants to propel you forward, into destiny, your Kingdom purpose and Kingdom assignments.
1. Burn for the Future, Don’t Burnout
The pressures and demands of life and ministry can often lead to burnout. The Lord is saying, "This is not the time to fizzle out, but to blaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit." The enemy would love nothing more than to see you worn out, defeated, and disheartened.
Do not allow the battles we face to extinguish our flame. Instead, it’s a time to retaliate with the strength and power of the Lord, rising above the warfare and pushing forward with divine momentum.
Allow the restitution, refreshing and renewal to come upon you to BURN in the spirit, as you spend time in the presence of the Lord.
2. Retaliate Against the Enemy in the Strength of the Lord
Warfare is inevitable in the life of a believer - this is not the time to allow the enemy to wear you thin through warfare. The Word of God declares, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in the Lord, and God helps me" (Psalm 28:7).
This strength is what enables us to rise, stand and fight. As you stand firm in God’s strength, as you follow Holy spirit’s leading, as you take counsel from mature overseers, you will see the enemy’s plans thwarted and your victory secured.
Job 22:28 says that if you decree a thing, it shall be established for you. The Word of God contains the power of God. That power is activated when we speak God's Word into our situations. SPEAK, do not mumble.
3. Activation in Obedience
In this hour, it is crucial that we (as the Body of Christ and as the people of God) respond in obedience. The Holy Spirit is leading us into a deeper level of commitment, revelation and activation.
We must be sensitive to the Lord’s leading, ready to move when God says move, and willing to go where God says go, willing to let go of old thinking and ways of doing things.
This season requires a church that is on fire, not only for what God is doing now, but for what the Lord will do in the future.
- Pray fervently Let your prayers be fervent and persistent, igniting the fire within you to burn brighter.
- Be on your guard in spiritual warfare: Do not retreat, but advance against the enemy with the strength of the Lord.
- Declare and decree with boldness the word of the Lord: Let your words be filled with God’s Word, speaking truth, life and hope.
Conclusion
Now is not the time to burn-out; it is the time to burn with a holy fire for the Lord.
Refuse to let the warfare wear you down, but instead, retaliate in the strength of the Lord to be activated to action.
As we step out in faith and obedience, we will see the power of the Holy Spirit manifest in ways we have never imagined. Burn for the future you have in the Lord, and watch as God uses you to impact the world around you.
Amen ! Let us learn to stand ! And then Stand some more
