Ministry of Prayer

“I’ve posted watchpeople on your walls, Jerusalem. Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out, reminding GOD to remember.” Isaiah 62:6, The Message

DGFC has a powerful anointed and prophetic prayer ministry, which Apostle Deborah often refers to as the backbone of the church. 

​

Our vision is to bring about transformation in our church, community, nation, and the world, through the power of prayer. We pray strategically to fulfil our church’s mission, seeking out the heart and vision of God through the Spirit for our church, the nations and all people.

​

We believe in praying "on site with insight" over the geographic territories the Lord leads us to, to bring about breakthrough.  Others from the congregation join us on prayer and evangelism walks, to experience the power of praying for others and our City.

​

We know that God has called people of prayer who will dwell in the presence of God, who bring forth prophetic word and who immerse themselves in the Word.

 

Prayer warriors must be watchful, seeking out the heart of God to change spiritual atmospheres and to stand in the gap for all.

 

We trust that God will make us faithful in the task which God has set aside for us and speak out in faith the words in Ezra 8:23 “So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and God answered our prayer.”
